Starting 30 November 2024, Malaga’s Parque del Oeste will transform into a dazzling world of lights and colours for the Lantern Festival, an extraordinary event made possible by a collaboration with the renowned Chinese company, Lantern Group.
Celebrating the Chinese Year of the Snake, this festival will run until 12 February 2025, promising a magical season that draws visitors from all over the globe.
A Festival of Tradition and Innovation
Inspired by the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival, this spectacle is the grand finale of the Chinese New Year festivities, also known as the ‘Spring Festival’. The Lantern Festival in Malaga will be an immersive experience that blends the depth of Chinese culture with the vibrancy of modern art, creating a one-of-a-kind celebration that enchants people of all ages.
